The Port of Baltimore is the USA’s biggest port by vehicle movements and provides a logical meeting place for this conference. The conference takes place at the Cruise terminal, South Locust Point.

The port has major ro-ro facilities and the latest data (for 2012) showed an annual increase of 19% in units moved to 652,000. Growth has continued since then. The port has terminals operated by Mercedes-Benz, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, Amports and AWC.
