Colin has served as CEO & managing director of Renault Nissan Automotive India since April 2015. He has extensive experience within the Renault-Nissan group entities. Colin achieved a BA Honours in economics & business management and an MBA from Durham University, UK. After graduation, Colin worked for Nissan UK where his portfolio covered production control, logistics strategy & planning, quality improvement and cost management. He held various management positions in different locations across the world. Later, he was appointed Vice President at Renault Nissan Alliance Logistics Europe. In his current role, Colin leads the Alliance’s biggest manufacturing facility in the world and is responsible for overall strategy, P&L, operations and team management.

Rajesh started his career in 1999 in automotive production planning and control. In his current role, he works for Hanon Climate Systems India Private Ltd (formerly known as Halla Visteon Climate Control Group), a thermal management multinational company and Korea’s largest manufacturer of automotive climate control systems. His 16+ years experience spans various areas of supply chain including value stream design, implementation of Kanban, bar coding, supplier delivery rating systems, driver rating systems and inventory accuracy management by cycle count & 4 wall processes. Rajesh has designed the complete information flow through ERP utilization and customised MIS systems in addition to driving systems, processes and methodologies for internal control audits / quality systems audits / EMS audits. Rajesh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Y.M.C.A. Institute of Engineering (M. D. University) and is a member of various forums including Supply Chain Brain, Supply Chain – Insight – Share and Learn and Strategies Lean Briefing.

Sandeep has worked with Continental since June 2012, and is responsible for customer demand planning and logistics, warehousing, material planning and imports and transportation. Previously, he was with Honeywell India in their aerospace division as head of the international supply chain. He has around 25 years of experience in automotive, electronics, manufacturing and the functional areas of global sourcing, procurement and supply chain management.

Bill joined APL Logistics in 1984 and has over 30 years’ experience in global transportation and logistics. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Bill is responsible for the strategic development, growth and profitability of APL Logistics’ automotive business worldwide, as well as the company’s operations in North America. This is comprised of intermodal rail, trucking, freight management and contract logistics activities. Prior to joining APL Logistics, Bill spent 12 years with a major U.S. railroad. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.

With over 20 years’ experience in automotive, FMCG, retail and services industries, Laurent has a proven track record of building effective customer relationship strategies, developing new businesses and enhancing profitability for multinational organisations. After achieving his MBA from INSEAD (Singapore, France), Laurent joined CHEP Europe in 2004 as a Key Account Director. In 2007, he was promoted to Country General Manager to launch CHEP Poland, creating a multi-million dollar business, and in 2009, his scope of responsibility extended across Central Europe to deliver a highly successful growth programme. Laurent now leads CHEP’s automotive businesses globally, creating a global customer centric team who are focused on delivering packaging solutions that improve profitability and sustainability for the leading OEM’s, Tier 1 suppliers and their supplier base. Before CHEP, Laurent held a variety of sales and operations position with Automobiles Peugeot in Europe. As a strategy consultant, he has helped develop global customer relationship strategies for market-leading businesses in the steel and automotive industries. Alongside his work with CHEP, Laurent also serves as a board member for a non-profit organisation.

He is the inventor and developer of the Convertible Trailer system. Bill also has over 20 years of experience as a professional firefighter, EMT and rescue worker. Bill’s vision is to continuously improve methods of managing the world’s finite resources, finding new and better ways of using them wisely and at the same time making a commercial return.

Rajiv has over 20 year experience in consulting, starting his career with international consultancy firm Andersen Consulting/Accenture. He spent ten years with leading automotive supplier Rico Auto Industries as their Executive Director and with Hollingsworth & Vose as India Managing Director. Rajiv helped establish Rico as a leading supplier of critical components and assemblies to OEMs across the globe. Later at Rico, he was responsible for its ferrous division where he successfully turned around what was a loss-making business. He came back to consulting in October 2012. At Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Nomura Research Institute, Rajiv leads the consulting practice and works with clients in the areas of growth strategy, scenario planning, supply chain, innovation, M&A, due diligence, restructuring, performance improvement, manufacturing excellence and organizational transformation with special focus on automotive and suppliers. He works closely with Industry Associations like CII, SIAM, ACMA and Assocham.

Gautam has spearheaded business development activities at Mumbai Port for over a decade, bringing 30 years logistics and port operations experience to bear. Mumbai Port Trust is the fourth major port in India, and the largest car handling port on the west coast handling approximately 0.16 million units including Maruti Suzuki., Tata Motors, Volkswagen, Mahindra & Mahindra, General Motors and Ashok Leyland. Gautam also focuses on the creation of facilities and provision of services for automotive exports and imports for Mumbai Port Trust.

Sumit has over 16 years experience in leading and managing supply chain operations, working with many large, global clients to improve their supply chain operations. He has a strong implementation track record of delivering operational changes, cost reduction and performance improvement. He is an active member of CSCMP ( Council of Supply Chain management Professionals) and undergone executive training at the Indian School of Business (ISB, Hyderabad) and Capstone Business Simulation course from IIM, Ahmedabad. Sumit holds an MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Science & Management and Bachelors of Science from Ranchi University, and taken courses in Material Management at NILEM , Export Management at Indian Institute of Export Management and Multi Modal Transport (Containerization) and logistics Management from Institute of Rail Transport (Indian Railways).

Gur-Prasad joined the Mercantile Marine from high school and spent 17 years at sea. After completing an MBA, he joined the Asian headquarters of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2000. He was Country Head for the Philippines for four years moving to Hong Kong as Managing Director in 2006. In April 2011, he moved to Head of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics for South Asia. Gur-Prasad reached 25 years service that same year for the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group of companies.
