alex-katsourisTime-critical air freight services provider, Air Partner, has appointed Alex Katsouris (pictured) as business development manager in its freight division.

Katsouris, who is currently based in the UK, moves from his role as automotive logistics division director for Europartners in Mexico, where he also played a leading role in the provision of time-critical services. Katsouris was with Europartners for seven years and has experience in both Europe and the Americas.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alexander to the team. His international experience will be invaluable as we look to continue growing our customer base across Europe and beyond," said Mike Hill, director of freight at Air Partners. “Time-critical and automotive are both key areas of focus for us, so Alex’s expertise and relationships in these areas will be a real asset as we work towards our strategic objectives.”

In its results for last year, Air Partner reported a 21% increase in gross profit in its freight division, with strong growth in the German and US parts of the global business. Katsouris will promote further growth in services for the automotive sector at the company in both of those regions.

“Air Partner already has a great reputation in the automotive sector but there are still opportunities out there, and I can’t wait to start helping the team to capitalise on these,” Katsouris said.
