Cosma International, the division of parts supplier and contract manufacturer Magna that supplies body, chassis and engineering components, has appointed Karl Martin Lukas (pictured) to a newly created role as manager of logistics for Cosma Europe.
The role marks a return to Magna for Lukas. He was previously head of supply chain management and logistics services for Magna International Europe for almost seven years. In the interim he served as operations manager at plastics engineering company, 4a manufacturing.
Lukas has worked in the automotive sector since 2002, both as a logistics and production manager, including at Collins and Aikman Products and FSG Austria Feinschneid- und Stanztechnik.
He now has responsibility for Cosma Europe’s logistics operations across 16 divisions and will report to John Petroni, executive vice-president of Cosma International.
