More than a shipping company

Neptune Lines, founded in 1975, is a leading car carrier operator providing frequent, reliable and high-quality services to the international automotive industry.

The company operates a regular liner service to more than 70 key ports in 30 countries across three continents.

Network expansion
In 2017, Neptune Lines launched its new service in northern Europe, providing a high-frequency service connecting northern Spain with France, the UK and Ireland. Following the previous year’s expansion in the Middle East, northern Europe is the company’s next milestone in growing its service network.

Modern and young fleet
Neptune Lines operates 17 pure-car-and-truck-carrier (PCTC) vessels with a total capacity of almost 55,000 units. Τhe average  owned fleet age correlated with the carrying capacity is 9.9 years and comprises one of the youngest fleets of PCTC vessels in Europe.

Greener shipping vision
Neptune Lines is firmly committed to the protection of the environment through established environmental and energy efficiency policies.
Its purpose built tonnage designed for the short-sea trade improves the environmental footprint of the vessels. Specific measures such as voyage and speed optimisation, hull optimisation, application of advanced silicon-based anti-fouling products and installation of energy saving devices are only part of Neptune Lines’ energy efficiency programmes.
Since 2010, it has achieved a 10.66% reduction in its CO2 emissions and it aims to further reduce them by 0.5% on an annual basis until 2018.

Sustainability
Neptune Lines aims to protect human rights, conduct ethical business, have a positive influence in the global supply chain and contribute to global economic growth and society. Since 2013, Neptune Lines has been issuing sustainability reports using the GRI-G4 sustainability reporting scheme. Its management system is certified under ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
