The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) manages marine cargo terminals for the ports of Seattle and Tacoma, Washington (US). Delivering best-in-class customer service is at the heart of what we do.

We have been handling automobile imports since 1976; nearly 5.5m automobiles have crossed our docks over that time.

Thanks to strategic partnerships we are able to serve automobile markets in Europe, South America and Oceania, in addition to our core market of Asia.

We pride ourselves on our ability to handle high-and-heavy cargo on ro-ro ships as well as autos.

The NWSA auto processing facility was built in 2003 and features a state-of-the-art processing building, a bodyshop and a large rail and truck-a-way facility. Located only 142 miles from the Canadian border, we are uniquely positioned for easy access to the western Canadian auto market.
