New logistics centre in Mexico expands services for auto customers
To support the growing demands of its domestic and international automotive customers, Yusen Logistics has opened a 5,000 sq.m logistics centre near Celaya, Mexico.
The Bajio Logistics Center is providing strategic supply chain solutions to auto OEMs and tier one and two suppliers. It sits on a seven hectare site in the Amistad Industrial Park in the Bajio region, one of the largest automotive clusters in Latin America, located close to major roads, rail links and key ports. The facility features 10 dock doors, a 6,000 sq.m trailer yard and an ocean container depot with capacity for 1,000 TEUs. There is room for future expansion.
Services delivered include just-in-time scheduling, domestic truck, rail and intermodal transportation, international freight forwarding, project cargo, import/export services, warehousing and value-added services and trade compliance.
