Cai Jin

Cai Jin graduated from Wuhan University in 1985 with a Masters in Economics. He is now a certified Senior Economist. He has worked in the Economics Information Centre of National Economics Committee, National Ministry of Materials and China Logistics Information Centre of Ministry of Domestic Trade in a variety of senior roles. He is now Vice President of the CFLP, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Logistics, Director and party secretary of the China Logistics Information Centre.

In 2003 Mats became the first Scania representative in China. In 2010, he took up the position as Executive Director of the Scania China Strategic Centre, which focuses on long term business development in China. He is Chairman of the ACEA CV board in China. Mats has been a very active participant in the public debate on the improvement of the transport and logistics in China. Mats holds a degree from Lund University in Asian Studies and Business Administration. He has lived and worked in China for over 20 years. 

Balakrishnan Adhi

Balakrishnan (Bala) is the head of product codification, program and pre-production management and system planning and implementation functions. This is part of the material planning and logistics department for Ford Asia Pacific. Bala leads the team of 180 members which includes India, China, Australia, South Africa, Thailand and Japan. He is responsible for the delivery of product launches, global BOM, engineering change control and prototype parts procurement activities. Bala also worked in ChangAn-Ford JV in China and various short term assignments in Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, South Africa, Japan, Brazil, Australia, UK, Germany and USA. He has over 19 years of experience in the logistics industry. Bala achieved a B.E. in production engineering, MBA in operations and PGDBF in finance. Currently he is pursuing a PhD in management.
