Anand joined Hyundai Motors in 1998 as their Regional Sales Manager (Southern Region, following 16 years with Tata Motors. He has over 18 years of experience in supply chain management and currently heads the outbound logistics team for both domestic and international markets. He is Co-Chairman of the logistics group at the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers and an active participant in the CII Institute of Logistics. He received the India Sea Trade Award and the International Maritime award from Indywood earlier this year for his work in promoting multimodal logistics via domestic coastal ro-ro operations.

Colin has served as CEO & managing director of Renault Nissan Automotive India since April 2015. He has extensive experience within the Renault-Nissan group entities. Colin achieved a BA Honours in economics & business management and an MBA from Durham University, UK. After graduation, Colin worked for Nissan UK where his portfolio covered production control, logistics strategy & planning, quality improvement and cost management. He held various management positions in different locations across the world. Later, he was appointed Vice President at Renault Nissan Alliance Logistics Europe. In his current role, Colin leads the Alliance’s biggest manufacturing facility in the world and is responsible for overall strategy, P&L, operations and team management.

Prem Verma

Prem has spent nearly 26 years in sales and marketing, managing different product lines ranging from lighting products, consumer electronics with Philips and commercial vehicles with Tata prior to his current assignment as head of the TML Distribution subsidiary of Tata Motors. A graduate of the University of Delhi, Prem is co-chairman of SIAM’s logistics committee.

Achal Paliwal

Achal has nearly three decades of experience in the Indian Automotive Industry. He has previously worked for automotive industry leaders such as Maruti Suzuki India, where he held various roles, and Honda Cars India, where he was head of logistics and exports. He also worked for a brief period with OTS (Australia) as Country Head. As the CEO of TML Distribution, a 100%-owned Tata Motors subsidiary, Achal is now engaged in the logistics and distribution of passenger and commercial vehicles. He has worked as a passionate advocate for the automotive logistics industry at various forums such as SIAM, CII, and ICC; and is a member of the SIAM Logistics Group and the National Logistics Council of CII.

Kalpesh Pathak

Kalpesh is responsible for the supply chain management of car, powertrain and corporate divisions located in Ranjangaon, near Pune. He has spent more than two decades in supply chain management within the automotive, consumer durables and engineering industries, and been involved in establishing supply chain models and business practices for five Greenfield projects –three in automotive, one in consumer durables and one in engineering – in both India and overseas. He is on the logistics committee of SIAM and the Import-Export committee of SIMA , as well as being a representative on the CII-Western Region.

He previously worked with McKinsey & Co, which he joined in 2006. In his final role there, he was the leader of the industrial consulting practice in India. Deepak holds bachelor’s degree in technology from IIT Kanpur and a master’s degree in business administration from IIM Lucknow.

He is also a past President of the Delhi Roundtable of CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals).
