BroekmanProjectLogisticsBroekman Logistics has set up a dedicated division providing a range of services for the international handling of project cargo. Broekman Project Logistics will support industries including energy and offshore and will target oversized construction, mining and heavy load cargo.

According to the company, which is based at the port of Rotterdam, the new division will provide a “one-stop shop” and handle disassembly at the point of origin, transport, storage, as well as loading and unloading at the ports and last-mile delivery.

“This total logistics package will unburden customers during the entire logistics process as Broekman Project Logistics takes care of all the paperwork, from transport permits to customs formalities,” said the company in a statement. The division will also provide its own chartering service.

Broekman Logistics was formerly the Broekman Group but, following the sale of its automotive division in late 2014 to C.Ro Ports, it was renamed to “emphasise its total focus on logistics”.

The company said then that it aimed to grow further, both in the countries in which it already operated and beyond. It now has sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Poland, India, China and Singapore.

Broekman is also part of the World Project Group, a group of independent companies with special focus on project cargo that cooperate on services for customers.
