Live polling conducted at this year's Automotive Logistics UK summit revealed that delegates are anticipating major changes to the automotive supply chain as it relates to the UK and the wider sector. While most executives participating in the survey are optimistic about the industry's prospects in the short term, including plans to expand in 2018, many also expect that Brexit will disrupt many aspects of today's trade negatively. Meanwhile, many expect that the UK will make a significant move towards electrified and alternative propulsion vehicles, with many consumers also likely to move further towards online vehicle purchasing and mobility services over the next decade. Such changes are likely to play a big role in how the automotive supply chain and logistics services developed over the coming years.
