paperchainpeopleTony Booth is moving from online car retailer Pendragon to take up a new role as managing director of BCA Technical Services, a division of BCA Marketplace, the UK-based B2B remarketing and dealer services provider owned by Haversham Holdings. He will take up the new role in June.

Booth has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry in a variety of roles, including managing director for the UK automotive division of Stobart from 2011 to 2015, which was bought out by BCA last year.

Prior to that, he spent 21 years with BMW where he held several positions including national aftersales manager, aftersales marketing manager and latterly general manager UK distribution.BCA said his new role would encompass the recently acquired Ambrosetti business and five additional technical services sites resulting from the SMA and Stobart acquisitions in 2015. These include facilities in Henstridge, Carrington, Doncaster, Stockton and Livingston. Booth will be responsible for the profitability and operation of these sites, as well as the development of BCA's technical services strategy and customer relations.
