Ceva has signed a three-year agreement with Mazda for the distribution of spare parts throughout Italy to 140 of the carmaker’s dealerships and authorised repair outlets.
The new contract involves Ceva collecting spare parts on a daily basis from Mazda’s warehouse in Klagenfurt, Austria for transport to Ceva’s distribution centre in Bentivoglio, near Bologna, one of its main international hubs.
An estimated 120,000 packages will be sorted and distributed per year on a daily basis to the dealerships as required, with delivery made by midday the day after collection for the majority of outlets.
Ceva will also manage the handling and processing of returns, including collecting parts from the dealers and shipping them back to the Mazda’s warehouse in Klagenfurt.

The company already supports carmakers, including Fiat, in the country.
Ceva’s 20,000m2 Bentivoglio platform handles local distribution and warehouse activity for Ceva’s customers the in region and features 40 loading/unloading docks.
