Before joining the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Albert held a variety of senior public and private sector roles including at ARCO. He has been a member of the Department of State′s Advisory Committee on International Trade, a delegate to the US-Mexico Partnership for Prosperity, and Chairman of the Reserve Forces Policy Board. His military service, during which he rose to the rank of Major General, saw him receive a Silver Star, five Bronze Stars for Valor, the Purple Heart and thirty other awards. A graduate of Harvard School of Business and the University of Southern California with a BA, MA and PhD, he currently serves on the boards of various non-profit organisations.
