Hot on the heels of the announcement that Konrad Zwirner had joined UK-based finished vehicle logistics provider BCA, the company has now revealed the appointment of Dean Hulse (pictured) as managing director of BCA Logistics.
Hulse has over 15 years’ experience and has held senior roles with TNT and Whistl. He will be responsible for BCA’s full range of services, including vehicle inspections, collection and deliveries, vehicle demonstrations and refurbishment.
“We continue to invest in the best talent in the industry,” commented Avril Palmer-Baunack, executive chairman, BCA Marketplace. “Dean brings a wealth of experience to this role and is well placed to bring a fresh, solution-led approach to our logistics operation.”
“BCA has ambitious plans for its logistics operation and it is an exciting time to join the business,” added Hulse. “As we continue to provide end-to-end solutions for our customers, BCA Logistics will play an important part of driving change to bring efficiency throughout the supply chain.”
BCA has been expanding over the last year. In 2015 it bought Stobart Automotive and earlier this year followed that with the acquisition of vehicle preparation and storage expert, Ambrosetti.
The company said it was now the UK’s largest provider of vehicle remarketing logistics services for the automotive sector. It currently operates a fleet of more than 100 vehicle transporters with 1,000 drivers, handling over 1m vehicle movements a year.
