DK Group, which provides logistics and packaging services to the automotive industry, has bought the UK-based contract packing and supply chain services company, Lemonpath, which provides services to a range of sectors including fashion, food and retail.
DK Group said Lemonpath will keep its brand identity and the company’s founder, Chris Antliff, will continue in his role as managing director as well as becoming part of the DK Group’s senior management team with wider responsibility within the organisation.
“By joining forces with DK, we have created a platform for growth for both Lemonpath and DK and I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues to drive the DK Group’s growth strategy forward over the coming years,” said Antliff.
Lemonpath operates two facilities in the UK Midlands, which combined provide 37,000 sq.m of operating space. DK Group, meanwhile, has 11 sites in the UK and mainland Europe and owns or leases premises totalling around 93,000 sq.m
Kevin Higginson, DK Group Investments’ CEO, commented: “Lemonpath has very successfully grown revenues and profits over the last 10 years by providing consistently outstanding levels of customer service and I am delighted to welcome the Lemonpath team to the DK Group.”DK Group forecasts its revenues will top £45m ($59.7m) this year.
