Last month saw a number of executive changes at automotive parts supplier Delphi. Eddie Wright, currently regional logistics director, Asia Pacific, for the company, has been promoted to global category director, Electrical/Electronic Components replacing Larry Graves. Wright is moving to Luxembourg to join the Delphi International Procurement Leadership team.
Wright began his tenure at Delphi back in 2001 as a Packard employee in production control, and has held positions as global commodity leader, global commodity buyer, purchasing supervisor, and transportation service manager.
Helen Tu has replaced Wright in the role of regional logistics director, Asia Pacific. She was most recently Asia Pacific regional category manager and has eight years’ experience with Delphi.
“[Helen] has gained experience and demonstrated exceptional performance working in various progressive roles within Asia Pacific Logistics,” said the company in a statement.
Meanwhile, David Zhang, currently global manager of business planning in Delphi Electrical/Electronic Architecture, has been promoted to regional director, Integrated Supply Chain, Asia Pacific. He started in 2004 as a logistics specialist in Delphi Energy and Chassis. Since then Zhang has served in multiple roles including PC&L supervisor, logistics analyst, China and ASEAN logistics manager, and regional logistics director.
