Genpact Limited, which provides business processes including supply chain and procurement to a variety of industries, has announced its alliance with Jaguar Land Rover.
Genpact will be helping the British carmaker to reduce its spending, create sourcing strategies and develop solutions for the OEM’s worldwide supply chain.
Jaguar Land Rover’s end-to-end request for quotation (RFQ) process for model launches, as well as engineering changes, will be managed by Genpact, thereby enabling Jaguar Land Rover’s purchasing staff to focus on strategic aspects of the business. Genpact will help the carmaker standardise its RFQ process and also help scale its business in new and existing markets while ensuring efficiency and compliance standards.
“We combine these strengths to ensure that the right information is sourced, processed, and then injected into Jaguar Land Rover’s decision making process,” said Patrick Cogny, senior vice president and business leader for Genpact’s infrastructure, manufacturing and services department. He went on to say that the company’s aim was “to make their operations adaptive to market conditions, globally competitive, and better connected with its supply base.”
