Govin manages logistics for start-up electric vehicle manufacturer NIO’s Silicon Valley-based operations, including product R&D, vehicle imports, logistics planning and launch, while supporting processes and best practice globally. He has more than 20 years’ experience in designing, implementing and optimising production, logistics and supply chain operations, including for Fiat Chrysler and Tesla. He specialises in world-class manufacturing and logistics, lean manufacturing philosophies and methods, and passenger vehicle/factory launches. Trained as a mechanical engineer with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Govin also possesses a graduate degree in engineering management.
