Alejandro “Alex” Graniewicz (pictured) has been appointed as managing director of Penske Logistics’ Mexico operations. He replaces Michael Casidy, who takes on the role of distribution centre management product line leader for the company’s western region in the United States.
Graniewicz was most recently the chief operating officer at logistics company, Fondo de Transporte Mexico. Prior to that, he held logistics and operations roles with Expeditors International and DHL, also in Mexico.
Bill Scroggie, senior vice-president of international operations for Penske Logistics, said: “Alex’s addition to our team is an important investment for our Mexico business. His logistics expertise in the local market will be a great asset in further building upon our reputation as a leading provider of supply chain solutions.”
Penske Logistics, with operations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing.
