North American aftermarket parts distributor, Keystone Automotive Operations, is moving to a 21,000-sq.m distribution centre in Flower Mound, near Dallas, Texas. The facility, which is being leased from Exeter Property Group and is located at the Lakeside Business District, is expected to be operational by the end of the year.
The new facility will bring the number of distribution centres Keystone operates in North America to six. It also has 20 non-inventory stocking cross-docks across the US and Canada.
The company’s distribution network is supported by more than 350 trucks providing next-day delivery for 20,000 customers throughout the region. It handles more than 300,000 SKUs from over 800 suppliers. The company also delivers to over 40 countries overseas.
Keystone Automotive Operations is based in Exeter, Pennsylvania. Earlier this year the company was bought by LKQ for $450m. LKQ provides collision replacement parts as well as recycled engines and transmissions.
