Craig Jasienski will take on the role of CEO at European short-sea ro-ro operator Neptune Lines from October 1 this year. Melina Travlos, who had held the role, will remain president of the company.
Jasienski was most recently CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen and brings a wealth of experience in the maritime forwarding of finished vehicles. Between 2007 to 2012, he served as CEO of UECC, having joined the company in 2005, and from 2013 until 2017, he was president of Eukor Car Carriers.
“I would like to give a warm welcome to Craig, whose experience and dedication will be extremely beneficial for leading Neptune Lines,” said chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Melina Travlos. “I will work closely with him to make sure that our vision will become reality. We will raise the bar higher, we will overcome challenges, and we will accomplish amazing things together.”
Jasienski started his career with Wilhelmsen Lines in Australia in 1987 and held various management positions in Wilhelmsen Lines and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics in Norway and the UK until he started in UECC in 2005 as director of commercial management.
“Neptune Lines has long been a company I admire, and it is with great honour that I have been asked to join the company as CEO,” said Jasienski. “I am very excited to lead the organisation in achieving our ambitions, and I look forward to working with the strong and talented team in Neptune Lines.”
