Dieter Braun (pictured) has taken over as head of Audi brand logistics, replacing Steffen Potrafke, who retired from the German carmaker last month.
Braun moves from his role as project manager for production of Audi’s product line A0/A, covering the small segment vehicles. Braun has previous roles as head of production control and plant logistics at Audi’s Neckarsulm site, which Audi said equipped him with extensive expertise in the logistics area.
Speaking of Potrafke’s time at Audi, a spokesperson for the carmaker said: “With his many years of experience, including at the international level, he played an instrumental part in shaping the Audi Production and Logistics division for more than three decades. The company would like to thank Steffen Potrafke for his outstanding and successful dedication.
