Gary Cardenas (left) has taken over as CEO of North American third-party logistics (3PL) provider ProTrans International. He replaces owner and founder Craig Roeder in the role. Roeder remains on the board of directors at the company and will serve as strategic project manager.
Cardenas moves from his position as president of ProTrans, a role he has been in for two years as part of a tenure at the company which began in 1996, when he started there as a business development manager. Cardenas left the company in 2009 to set up TOC Logistics, before returning in 2017 in the role of president when he integrated his company into the ProTrans business.
I am confident in and excited for ProTrans’ future with Gary at the helm as a strategist and leader,” said Roeder. “He has demonstrated his range of management, experience and passion that will lead ProTrans’ success in the years ahead.”
ProTrans provides logistics design, carrier procurement, supply chain management and transport management from its headquarters in Indianapolis.
