BCA, the used car auction and vehicle logistics provider, its extending its remarketing of used Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles in the UK under a new two-year deal signed with PSA Group’s division in the country.
The latest deal builds on existing work BCA does for PSA UK, including handling contract hire and personal contract purchase (PCP) returns through auction, as well as inventory management and sales.
Citroën and DS stock is already sold at BCA Bridgwater, Measham and Brighouse, with Peugeot vehicles on offer at Bridgwater, Nottingham and Bedford. BCA also holds e-auctions every two weeks offering Peugeot stock.
BCA’s outsourced sales support team will now also provide data and market insight on a wider scale from the company’s Remarketing Solutions Centre in Peterborough to help franchised dealers find the vehicles to meet customer demand.
“This is a significant partnership deal that will see BCA supporting the remarketing strategy for PSA across all markets and suppliers,” said Craig Purvey (pictured), BCA’s chief commercial officer, adding that the service would meet PSA UK’s aspirations to improve sales volumes through the franchised and independent dealer network.
Mark Spray, head of used vehicle operations at PSA UK, said: “BCA offered an innovative and joined-up approach to our used vehicle remarketing needs across all fronts. It delivered a robust plan to meet our objectives of increasing engagement with our dealer networks, while improving used market strategy and operational decision-making to ensure optimum residual value performance across our range.”
Earlier this year, BCA snapped up logistics provider Paragon Automotive as part of what it said was a strategy to deliver “a broad-based automotive support services business”.
