Faith Wandrie has moved from her role as director of Production Control and Logistics at tier one supplier Faurecia to take up the position of supply chain director ñ NAO at body structure and chassis provider Benteler Automotive.
Wandrie said the main scope of her new role includes planning, release procurement, warehousing, inventory management and control of materials, including material and information flow. Her responsibilities also include transport and trade compliance, which includes a level of responsibility with manufacturing.
ìAdditionally, I will be implementing projects out of our global strategy,î said Wandrie. ì[This includes] developing and implementing regional strategies, policies, procedures, and the overall team, to standardise and optimise working capital, and the value of the entire function.î
She said the role demanded an emphasis on KPI management, gap convergence and minimised supply chain risk.
Prior to her role with Faurecia, Wandrie was global director of logistics at Henniges Automotive between 2008 and 2012, with responsibility for supply chain management, planning, and logistics, amongst other areas.
It is not the first time Wandrie has worked with Benteler Automotive by any means, having joined the company in 1983 as an executive assistant and worked her way up to take the role of director of Materials, Planning and Logistics at the company in 1999, a role she held for for nine years prior to the move to Henniges.
