Anji Automotive Logistics has signed an agreement with Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shandong province, China to build an intermodal logistics hub for finished vehicles.
The company is investing RMB 300m ($49m) in the project, which will include port, rail and road links, with work set to begin in March and be complete by the end of the year.
Yantai is on the tip of Shandong peninsula on China’s northeastern coast and the zone is one of China’s biggest manufacturing bases for vehicle parts and accessories, as well as construction machinery.
Anji Automotive Logistics offers a variety of logistics technologies, domestic forwarding, finished vehicle warehousing, logistics management advice, planning, personnel training and international forwarding. It also imports and exports automotive parts on an international platform.
