BCA Marketplace, which provides B2B remarketing and dealer services, has bought UK vehicle preparation and storage expert, Ambrosetti for an undisclosed sum. Ambrosetti will be integrated into the BCA services division, BCA Automotive, led by Mike Pilkington.
According to BCA the acquisition of Ambrosetti, which provides reconditioning, conversion, PDI, servicing, storage and onward logistics, will complete BCA’s capability of providing a complete range of services for new and used vehicles. Ambrosetti, which has facilities in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire, and Rochester and Sandwich, Kent, in handles around 100,000 vehicles annually.
The latest acquisition follows BCA’s takeover of Stobart Automotive in August last year.
