Swiss logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel International has announced that directors Hans Lerch and Juergen Fitschen are to step down in May, after 14 and 11 years on the board respectively. A new face, David Kamenetzky, will be proposed for election to the board at the firm’s annual general meeting on May 7.
Kamenetzky is currently the chief strategy and external affairs officer and a member of the executive board of management at brewery company Anheuser-Busch Inbev. He previously served as a member of the executive board at confectionery products and veterinary health services company, Mars.
Kuehne + Nagel chairman Joerge Wolle thanked Fitschen and Lerch “for their successful and long-standing” contributions to the board.
“We are happy to have Mr Kamenetzky, a successful manager with global experience, being proposed for the election to the board of directors," he added.
