BCA, the UK-based used car auction and vehicle logistics provider, has appointed Ian Carlisle as CEO of its newly created services division.
In the role, he will take responsibility for BCA Vehicles Services, BCA Fleet Solutions, BCA Automotive and BCA Logistics.
“We have formed the new Services division to further accelerate our ability to deliver our vision of being the leading, integrated, automotive services business,” said Avril Palmer-Baunack, BCA Marketplace’s executive chairman.
“One of Ian Carlisle's main objectives will be to further align our services offer to create maximum value for our clients, especially as the automotive market evolves in the years ahead.”
Carlisle’s career includes stints across a number of service industries at a senior board level, including Marks & Spencer, Autoglass and Homeserve.
He was CEO of the Paragon Automotive Group for the 12 months before BCA acquired the business in 2016.
BCA’s services range from technical and logistics services for new vehicles, refurbishment, storage and logistics for the used sector and the core remarketing and auction operation.
