Ceva Logistics has appointed Terry Carter to the newly created position of senior vice president of transportation for contract logistics. He will report to Brett Blissell, chief operating officer contract logistics and is tasked with coordinating transport for Ceva's business worldwide, including its third party contractors.
Carter brings more than 25 years' experience in the logistics and transport industry. He was most recently president of Graebel Van Lines and prior to that senior vice-president and chief improvement officer at Brown Integrated Logistics. He also worked for DHL Express in a number of senior positions.

In separate news, Ceva’s managing director in Germany, Christian Wurst, is leaving the country to take up a new role as regional CEO for Europe at Panalpina. Wurst was in charge of overall operations and business development of freight management and contract logistics in Germany. His replacement has yet to be announced.
