The Volkswagen Group has awarded DHL Supply Chain a three-year contract to manage its UK press fleet operations, including the preparation, delivery and collection of press vehicles.
Operations will be based at a 3,000 square metre facility in Milton Keynes close to the Volkswagen Group’s head office in the UK. The DHL site will be equipped for repair work, and have a vehicle compound and a covered area for valeting.
A team of around 60 employees will be based at the press fleet centre, including customer service and technical specialists, body repairers, inspectors and delivery drivers.
