Egon Christ (pictured) has taken up a new position as managing director of Mosolf Transport Solutions. He was previously senior manager and head of purchasing for research and development services at Daimler and worked for the German carmaker for 30 years.
Mosolf Transport Solutions is the division of Mosolf Group that manages the outbound movement of vehicles.
“Mosolf is gaining a top manager with outstanding expertise in the field of automobile logistics in the person of Egon Christ,” said Dr Jörg Mosolf, the company’s CEO. “With his experience and knowledge, he will support Mosolf in an outstanding manner.”
Prior to his position in research and development services at Daimler, a role he took up in 2015, Christ was responsible for global transport logistics for all of the company’s finished vehicles.
Mosolf Group has just acquired AFG, a specialist in outbound logistics based in Germany, and part of Christ’s role will be to oversee the integration and development of the company into the group. He will oversee business operations at AFG with Bernhard Ewe, managing director at ALG.
