Euro Car Parts (ECP) has opened a 930 sq.m branch in Warwick, in the UK. The aftermarket parts distributor said the new branch would stock 15,000 lines and would provide deliveries within the hour to service centres in surrounding Warwick, Leamington, Stratford and Southam. It will be replenished by ECP’s national distribution centre in Tamworth.
“We are excited to be able to bring the Euro Car Parts offering into the Warwick area, providing an outstanding service from point of order to receipt of parts and an equally excellent reverse logistics process,” said Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, chairman of ECP. “Warwick will provide a full one-stop-shop offering of workshop parts, consumables and workshop equipment solutions.”
Customers of the new branch will also be able to use ECP’s ‘Click & Collect’ online checkout service, along with a battery recycling facility.
ECP said it was pursuing a rapid expansion programme in the UK to provide faster delivery times. It opened its 200th branch in Manchester at the end of last year. In 2014, meanwhile, it bought 27 locations previously owned by Unipart Automotive, which went into administration.
From 2017, the company’s network of 200 UK branches will be served from a new 93,000 sq. m national distribution centre currently being developed at Birch Coppice, Tamworth.
