Evelyn Chiang has left her role as vice president of supply chain and IT at electric vehicle maker Tesla Motors where she led procurement, material planning and logistics for all of Tesla’s products.
 
The company’s global director of logistics Greg Henniger and logistics manager Roy Kimber have assumed her responsibilities and unconfirmed reports suggest a replacement for the position is not expected.
 
Prior to joining the company Chiang held a number of positions with SAP and has extensive experience in operations, consulting and business development.

Ernst Cooiman has changed roles at Netherlands-based logistics provider Koopman Logistics Group to take up the position as head of Business Development. Cooiman was managing director of both Koopman Car Terminal and Koopman Automotive Solutions.
 
Management of Koopman’s terminals in Born and Amsterdam is now being handled terminal managers Alain Bresseleers for Koopman Car Terminal (Amsterdam) and Paul Magdeleyns for Koopman Automotive Solutions (Born).
 
Craig Monaghan has assumed the role of president and CEO at Asbury Automotive, which handles vehicle sales and maintenance, as well as repair services, replacement parts and service contracts. He replaces Charles Oglesby who retires on at the end of July.
 
Senior vice president and COO, Michael Kearney, has been promoted to executive vice president.
 
Oglesby has assumed responsibilities as the chairman of Asbury's Board of Directors until his retirement. In conjunction with his take up of the Chairman role, the company has established a lead independent director position and elected Thomas DeLoach, a current Asbury director and former Mobil Corporation executive, for the role.
 
Camiel Eurlings will join the managing board of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines at the beginning of July this year with responsibility for Air France - KLM Cargo. The move follows the appointment of Mattijs ten Brink who has moved to the position as senior vice president, Sales & Distribution for the company and for Martinair Cargo from Jean Charles Foucault who has retired.
