Fleetmatics, which helps logistics service providers track and manage their fleets, has announced plans to expand into the Dutch market.
The Ireland-based software company employs satellite technology to track more than 417,000 vehicles on a variety of international platforms. The decision to more into the Netherlands comes as part of its expansion plans in Europe.
The company’s GPS tracking system enables users to locate drivers, reduce fuel costs, automate timesheets and improve visibility across the supply chain.
Fleetmatics’ chief executive and chairman, Jim Travers, said a move into the Netherlands will allow the group to deliver “innovative solutions to more businesses that choose to work smarter”.
