UTi Worldwide has announced the appointment of Jeff Hammond as its senior vice president of Global Sales. He has been with the company since 2010 when he took up the newly created position of global vice president, Customs Brokerage and Compliance.
In his new role Hammond will direct the regional sales vice presidents, global vertical market sales leaders, sales operations and the supply chain design and innovation team. He is also a member of the company's executive board.

"He is a growth-driven leader who is focusing our efforts to leverage the considerable benefits that our new systems have created for clients. Under Jeff’s direction, our regional and vertical sales leaders are jointly refining configurable solutions that will produce value for our clients and accelerate UTi’s growth."
He has 30 years' experience in freight forwarding and contract logistics. Prior to joining UTi, he held senior management positions at UPS and Emery Worldwide.
