Finished Vehicle Logistics presented a very special Humanitarian award to Jim Gerencer, Founder and president of Nationwide for starting the Early Recognition Is Critical Foundation (ERIC).
Jim founded Eric after his son Eric was diagnosed with cancer and the foundation was started with the intention of providing a fun teaching tool targeting youth, for early cancer detection and in turn cancer prevention.
Recognising the value of education and being physically fit to help fight disease. They selected the sport of Ultimate Frisbee as a perfect vehicle to share information about cancer prevention.
ERIC has far exceeded its gold and has worked with over 200,000 youth and hundreds of volunteers and coached in the Us and many other countries.
