UK body the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has appointed Tina Patel (pictured) as its new financial coordinator. Patel brings with her more than 12 years’ experience in the finance and banking industry across areas including pensions, asset management and retail banking. She will work at IAAF’s head office in Castle Bromwich, in the West Midlands and will be responsible for financial reporting, among other duties.
“I am delighted to be part of this great team as there is a real sense of team spirit here at the IAAF,” said Patel. “I aim to be as efficient and proactive as possible with all our members and look forward to working alongside them and building solid relationships.”
According to the IAAF, Patel will support the federation in its aim to supply members with useful content and expertise relevant to the running of an automotive aftermarket business.
IAAF chief executive Wendy Williamson said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome someone with Tina’s experience to our team and we’re positive that her appointment will have a beneficial impact on the federation.”
