Inna Kuznetsova has been promoted to president and chief operating officer (COO) at Inttra, the ocean shipping electronic marketplace, which provides transaction and information to streamline the container shipping business.
Kuznetsova joined Inttra in 2015 as president of Inttra Marketplace, the company’s core business, having previously been COO at Ceva Logistics for almost three years.
Inttra Marketplace currently handles approximately one in four ocean container shipping transactions and generated a 12% increase in container orders in 2015, according to the company.
She also led the company’s eVGM Initiative, a non-commercial group consisting of more than a dozen leading carriers, freight forwarders and ports working to develop technology and business process standards in compliance with upcoming Safety of Life at Sea verified gross mass (SOLAS VGM) container weight requirements.
“I’m very pleased that Inna is stepping into this role at a time of great momentum for Inttra,” said its CEO John Fay. “I am very confident that she will make a great contribution to our efforts to continue to grow Inttra by exceeding our customers’ expectations, meeting their evolving needs, and achieving further success for Inttra.”
Previous to her role with Ceva, Kuznetsova held a number of increasingly senior positions at IBM over a period of almost 20 years. In her last role there she was the vice-president of marketing and sales enablement for IBM Systems Software. She became the first vice president of Russian origin at IBM headquarters in 2009.
