Japanese shipping company “K” Line has announced the foundation of a subsidiary company, K Line RoRo Services. The new company will handle the sales and marketing of ro-ro cargo and used cars, as well as equipment.
The company’s Car Carrier Business Group had previously handled this role, which deals in used automobiles, construction machinery and static cargo.
The group’s subsidiary plans to extend its customer outreach and enhance the sales activities of existing clients. In a statement the company also pointed to the potential for more cargo diversification.
K Line RoRo Service will go online in the third quarter of 2013 at the start of October.
