Asian logistics provider, Kerry Logistics Network, has appointed a new management team in the UK.
Dave Gaughan (pictured) has been appointed managing director of the UK business based in Manchester, where he will be joined by Ian Dodsworth, who takes on the role of executive director.
Meanwhile, Brian Dempsey has become commercial director and will be based at the company’s office in London.
All three began working at Kerry Logistics in 2002.
“I am delighted to be working with such a strong team with so much solid experience,” said Gaughan. “Together with Emma Rowlands, our UK sales director, and Gareth Rowlands, ITS director for Europe and USA, we are looking forward to further developing our business in the UK.”
Dempsey is rejoining Kerry Logistics after a three-year break to pursue other interests.
“Brian has over 35 years of knowledge and experience in the industry and so naturally we are delighted to have him back,” said Gaughan.
Gaughan, Dodsworth, and Dempsey all worked closely with Gary Wilcock, who was Kerry Logistics’ European managing director, but who sadly passed away earlier this year after a brief illness.
In other news, Kerry Logistics has announced that it will soon begin work on a 15,000 sq.m bonded warehouse in Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone as part of its joint venture in the country with Worldbridge International. The company said the site was ideal for supporting the international automotive industry.
