German logistics company Imperial Logistics International has struck a deal to continue managing the MAN Truck and Bus trailer yard in Salzgitter, Germany, for at least another three years. MAN manufactures components for commercial vehicles at the site.
Imperial, based in Duisburg, is responsible for moving trailers between the yard and individual lines’ loading/unloading areas there, including opening and closing the trailers as well as removing and attaching any load securing systems.
Other services performed for MAN include managing production supplies, internal factory transport operations, managing empty containers, checking loads and incident management.
