Marco Prueglmeier has worked with the BMW Group since 1998, working in roles that have included assembly planning, logistics planning and inhouse consulting for lean processes. He later gained experience as Head of Materials Management and Physical Logistics in the Munich-based engine production, as well as in international project management for logistics in the product line.
Since 2015, he has been responsible for the development of innovative logistics applications, such as autonomous transports, logistics robotics, mobile devices, paperless logistics, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI), areas considered key elements in preparing BMW Group logistics for the challenges of global competition.
