Following the untimely death of Fred Roldan in July, the position of supply chain director at GM South America is currently being handled on an interim basis by Marcos Ferlin. Ferlin is also purchasing program management director at the carmaker and has been with the company for more than 30 years.
Ferlin has held a number of roles at GM in both Brazil and Latin America involved with logistics, supply chain and purchasing. Prior to his current permanent role he was in charge of supplier risk management, global purchasing and supply chain for GM do Brasil.
