Michael Schaecher (pictured) has left Ceva Logistics where he was COO and executive board member in charge of air and ocean freight.
Schaecher joined the company in April last year as COO for Global Airfreight and took on responsibility for Global Oceanfreight in November that year following the departure of Dominik Tichelkamp.
He held a wide selection of senior leadership and operations roles prior to his time with Ceva, including executive positions with DHL Global Forwarding, Star Broker, and Panalpina.
Ceva has not announced a replacement for Schaecher. His departure follows last week’s announcement that Jim Barnett, vice president of the automotive sector for the Americas region, has also left the company. His role is currently being handled by Cindy Cochovity, executive vice-president of business development for North America at Ceva.
