Mobis serves as the components sector of the Hyundai Motor Group and operates parts distribution to around 360 Hyundai and Kia warehouses. The deal will see Norbert Dentressangle make nightly services for pre-8am deliveries, which will be a change from the current pre-midday parcel delivery service. As well as decreasing lead times, the use of roll cages is expected to help reduce packaging costs and damages.
Mobis, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, also earlier this year announced a contract extension in the UK with Unipart Logistics until 2018.
