Neptune Lines has taken delivery of its latest vessel, M/V Neptune Thalassa, a pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) with a capacity for 3,500 vehicles.
It is the second of two new vessels the Greek short sea operator has ordered from South Korean shipbuilder – Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (MPD). The first vessel, M/V Neptune Galene, which has the same carrying capacity, was delivered in February. The latest addition brings the company’s fleet to 17 vessels, serving more than 30 ports in the European region, including those on the Black Sea.
Neptune Lines transports around 800,000 units annually. [sam_ad id=6 codes='true']
