DHL Supply Chain has appointed Oscar de Bok (pictured) as its new CEO for mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa. He moves from his previous role as CEO of Asia Pacific at DHL Supply Chain and replaces Paul Graham, who has left the company for personal reasons.
With the company since 1992, de Bok has held a number of management positions in sales, project management, operations and general management in European and Asian markets. Before moving to Asia, he held the position of managing director for the DHL Supply Chain business in the Nordic and Baltic regions, as well as Italy.
“With Oscar de Bok as CEO for [the region] we appointed a seasoned leader with more than 25 years of global industry experience in logistics,” said John Gilbert, CEO of Supply Chain. “I am convinced that he is uniquely qualified to continue the next development phase of our change and growth journey in Europe, Middle East and Africa.”
Paul Graham, who was also DHL Supply Chain’s divisional COO alongside his role as CEO of mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa, was with DHL for 12 years. He began his career in logistics in 1980 and has over 30 years of experience across all parts of the industry.
