Copenhagen Malmö Port has appointed Anders Lund Kristensen as its new chief commercial officer (CCO). He will take up the role at the beginning of March this year, replacing Sune Norup Christensen, who has moved on to a new role in the shipping industry.
Kristensen brings more than 25 years of experience in maritime logistics to his new role, including more than 14 years working for Maersk in northern Europe and China across liner operations. He also previously worked for Maersk Sealand.
Most recently he was executive vice-president and head of maritime and logistics at Milaha, the Qatar-based integrated transport, marine services and supply chain solutions provider.
“I am very happy that we have succeeded in recruiting Anders and look forward to welcoming him,” said Barbara Scheel Agersnap, CEO of Copenhagen Malmö Port. “Anders has a strong commercial focus combined with high ambitions and a sense for developing new ideas and concepts. I am convinced that Anders’ experience and skills makes him well suited to contribute to driving us forward, as we continue to develop the company.”
